Keep in mind product demand is excellent, exports keep making new Ups in ALL the Meats.

A big factor is the inexhaustible supply of US dollars sloshing around the globe which keep fueling meat exports from the USA.

The real noticeable export effect plays this fall of 07, similar to 2003. Expect Fats to establish new price plateaus of $107 to $117 cwt.

The West appears to have switched to a wet weather cycle.
Many of the cattle being placed on grass now are for long term replacement with no real beef production to be realized from those units for another 2 to 3 years.
