90% lean is hard to come by. That is fairly evident by the fact cows with just a touch of grease over the top have been running $5 to $7 cwt over the higher yield fat cull cows in this market.

The Cull cow market top in 05 was right at $65 cwt..
2007 may easily meet that level, with an outside possibility of running to the low $70's cwt.

Since the packing industry is so consolidated that they hold their market meetings in one phone booth, the low 70's on cull cows is perhaps more dream than Real World supply and demand.
